Rental terms & conditions
Plain language, no surprises. These are the terms that apply to every Awalcar booking. Last updated 1 June 2026.

1. Who can rent
The main driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid driving licence for at least one year. Most national licences are accepted in Morocco. Additional drivers can be added free of charge at pickup — they must meet the same requirements and present their licence.
2. No deposit & payment
Awalcar does not take a security deposit. You pay only the agreed all-inclusive rental price. We accept only cash and cash on delivery in Agadir. Prices are quoted per day and include the car, unlimited mileage, taxes and airport delivery.
3. What’s included
- Full insurance — theft protection is included on every rental.
- Unlimited mileage — drive anywhere in Agadir with no per-kilometre charges.
- Free delivery and collection at Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA).
- 24/7 roadside assistance and local support throughout your rental.
- A second driver at no extra cost.
4. Insurance & your responsibility
Full insurance covers the vehicle against accidental damage and theft, subject to the terms and conditions of our insurer.
If you are responsible for an accident or damage to the vehicle, your financial responsibility is limited to a maximum of €600. If you are not at fault, you pay €0 for the damage.
You remain fully responsible for damage resulting from negligence or misuse, including driving under the influence, driving off-road where prohibited, exceeding vehicle height limits, using the wrong fuel, or losing the keys. Any traffic fines incurred during the rental period are the driver’s responsibility.
5. Fuel policy
Our standard policy is like-for-like: you receive the car with a set fuel level and return it at the same level. There is no fuel surcharge and no full-to-empty markup. If returning the car at the same level is impractical, just let us know and we’ll agree a fair settlement in advance.
6. Pickup & return
Share your flight number when you book. We track arriving flights, so if your flight is delayed, your agent will simply wait at no extra charge. Pickups and returns at the airport are free and available 24/7. If you’d like delivery to a hotel or address in the Agadir area instead, let us know — we’ll confirm whether it’s free or quote any small charge before you confirm.
7. Changes & cancellation
Plans change, and that’s fine. You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup. Date changes are free subject to availability. To change or cancel a booking, contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email with your confirmation details.
8. Use of the vehicle
The car may be driven anywhere within Morocco on public roads. The car may only be driven by the named drivers on the rental agreement.
9. Liability
Awalcar is not liable for personal belongings left in the vehicle, for indirect losses such as missed flights or appointments, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable Moroccan consumer law.
10. Privacy
We collect only the information needed to provide your rental — your name, contact details, licence and flight information. We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. You can ask us to update or delete your details at any time by emailing us at reservation@awalcar.com.
